Mother’s Day Zumba Class
Posted on May 8, 2011 by Ching under Health, Zumba.
Mom and I attended Gina Ann’s special Mother’s Day weekend Zumba class at East Central Genesis and had a blast! I got to meet mom’s friend Tita Grace and her daughter Kristen. Didn’t get any pictures with them, though. Oh, well. Maybe next time.
Meanwhile, here are some pictures of the usual suspects.

TGIF at the West Central Genesis

We had a great time at the TGIF Zumba class on Friday night. We thought we were going to have to do Zumba outside. It worked out better because it was a little too hot. Here are some of the post-Zumba and TGIF photos…

TGIF was a lot of fun. The folks at West Central Genesis sure know how to party. I’ll have to remember to bring some lawn chairs and Woodchucks next time.

Habitat for Humanity
Posted on May 8, 2011 by Ching under Things to Do.
Misty and I spent Friday afternoon volunteering at the Habitat for Humanity build site in South Wichita. Other than being too windy, the weather perfect.
Erin volunteered the same afternoon so we got to catch up with her.
We had a wonderful day painting. We managed to get it all over ourselves, though. All I can say is, I’m glad I didn’t get my nails done recently. =P

Cinco de Mayo

Amie looked really cute on Cinco de Mayo.
Our post Zumba pic. The weather was absolutely perfect.
Brian and Stephanie outside Felipe’s West Central.
Stephanie and Gina Ann at the restaurant. Stephanie looks great again. Like she didn’t even workout. I don’t know how she does it. She gets sweaty and gross from Zumba and then, two seconds later, she’s all done up again. It’s completely magical.

Stephanie, Amie and Gina Ann.
Rick and Amie. What a great-looking couple!
Other than the food taking forever and the restaurant running out of rice, we had a great time. Nothing like a post-Zumba pig-out session!

Water for Elephants
Posted on May 8, 2011 by Ching under Date Ideas, Movies.
Brian and Jay were great sports and went to see Water for Elephants with the girls.
After the movie, we all went to the Vagabond. Brian and I had only been there once, after our massages at Bohemia. None of the others had ever been there. It’s actually a cozy little coffee bar. The prices are good too. Better than Starbucks.
I wish Cory could have joined us. I don’t think he wanted to see Water for Elephants, though. LOL. BTW, Jay was really funny. After sitting there for ten minutes, he totally went back to his car and grabbed his laptop so he could “fit in” with the other coffee bar patrons. I don’t think it worked, though. We still managed to stand out. =P
