The Fresh Market

I’d been meaning to tell you guys about The Fresh Market, which is located in the old Ultimate Electronics space at Bradley Fair. As far as the food and deli selections go, it’s like a Dillons Marketplace on steroids. The store opened on June 20 but, since Brian and I both work during the week, we didn’t get a chance to check it out until the weekend. Here are some of the photos that I took.
Brian smells the coffee. He has a bit of a problem. Some people sniff glue. He’s addicted to coffee. Until he starts snorting the stuff, I guess I shouldn’t worry.
The great wall of spices.
Cakes and other yummy desserts.
Pre-assembled kabobs and marinated meats. All ready to go.
Mmmm… Seafood!
They also have an extensive olive bar, complete with grape leaves. However, I tried some and they’re not half as good as the ones they serve at M.I.F. Deli. Might as well skip the grape leaves and save yourselves the disappointment.
Also, their chocolate croissants are not that great. Unless the box I got was pretty stale, which is very possible. The chocolate croissants did not make a good first impression, though. So yes, I’m still searching for a place to find great chocolate croissants here in Wichita. Any suggestions?
But I digress… Back to Fresh Market. Everything else in the store looks and smells great. You all have to check out the place when you get a chance. It’s food heaven.

I finally got around to checking out Fresh Market the other day and was happily surprised at the nice selection of upscale foods they have. I think it will be a good resource for hard to find recipe ingredients as well.
