On Graduating with Honors

I had no idea. I wish I would’ve known. I could’ve bought an honors cord and everything. The lady at the bookstore tried to sell one to me when I bought my graduation regalia. I declined because I didn’t think I would be able to graduate with honors because of my CS 300 class which I was failing in. I didn’t realize that they were going to use grades as of fall.
So anyway, I don’t have a cord for pictures. What a shame! I could’ve even used the one I had for my high school graduation. It looks exactly identical to our old 4.0 honor cords.
Of course, it’s been ten years. Mom has probably tossed it. Incidentally, I left my graduation regalia at her house. I made her promise not to throw it away because I will need it again in a couple of years when I finish my masters. Besides, Jen may be able to use it too. So one of us will be able to use it.
Oh, the funny thing is Justin didn’t even know I made Cum Laude. When they asked those graduating Cum Laude to stand and I stood up he made at face at me as if to say, “What are you doing? You didn’t graduate with honors. You don’t even have an honor cord!”
I just stuck my tongue out at him. My name is on the list, dammit! So I’m standing up to get the proper recognition. LOL!

Peabody is yucky. No offense to anyone who lives there. You would totally hate it. Really. I know. We lived 15 miles from there. Yuck. 60 minutes from take out? You’d die. 60 minutes from anything? Crappy broadband? Are you INSANE?!

I recently installed Spam Karma so I’m trying to see if it changed anything on my blog. Just making sure the layouts are still the same. Let me know if any of you encounter any problems while posting a comment.
