Audrey Hepburn

This is the rose plant that Jay and Becca gave us as a gift for helping them set up their booth at the bridal show on Sunday. It was totally unexpected. We were more than happy to help and we had a lot of fun doing it. It wasn’t like a chore that we had to do or anything. They decided to do something nice and surprise us with a plant anyway, which was truly super nice of them.
The timing was perfect too because we’re having a heck of a time reviving Chi-Chi. I think she might truly be dead. 🙁
As with all of our plants, we had to give the new one a name. Jay recommended Audrey after the plant in Little Shop of Horrors. I was thinking more like Audrey Hepburn, one of my favorite actresses, because the plant is beautiful just like her. Thank you for our new rose plant, Jay and Becca! You guys are the best!

You guys are awesome. I was concerned it might have been a little like dropping a baby in a basket off on your doorstep in the middle of the night in the pouring rain…Glad you welcomed Audrey into the family with open arms. we appreciate all that you guys do, you are great friends.
P.S. I liked when Brian asked if Audrey had drawn blood yet. I actually did get stuck a few times digging her out as she was in the back of the bunch, but by far the prettiest.
