Brian is Going to Kill Me
Posted on August 1, 2010 by Ching under Life.
We were walking around Sam’s Club when, out of the Blue, Brian goes “I think we should get life insurance.”
“What do you mean?” I asked, “When I die, you will get money from my work.”
“Yes, but I worry about you.”
“I can take care of myself, baby.”
This was weird. We had talked about getting additional life insurance coverage aside from what is offered by our respective employers, but I was thinking this was ten years further down the road. At least until we’re in our 40s. I mean, we’re both healthy and everything.
This led me to ask, “Are you going to kill me?” I think the random question surprised Brian so I had to elaborate. “I mean, getting life insurance is what husbands do right before they murder their wives.”
“You watch too much TV,” Brian concluded.
He’s probably right. I am watching “Young, Beautiful & Vanished: 15 Most Unthinkable Crimes” on E! HD right at this very moment. I think I should stick to HGTV HD. LOL.
