The Blog Has a New Title
Posted on July 28, 2012 by Ching under Life, Relationship.
In case you haven’t noticed, the blog has a new title. With our 10th wedding anniversary (yes, it’s only 13 days away) coming up, I figured it was time to retire the “Life After Marriage” title. LOL.
There is life after marriage. We’ve proven that. Just read through the 10 years worth of blog entries on this site. It’s been an amazing 10 years for sure. Each year continues to get better than the last. But I digress… Now that we’ve been married for a decade, I’m pretty much just blogging about “life” and not so much married life.
The significance of the new title is that I always get picked on for taking pictures and “documenting” everything that I do. But hey, everyone will get old and lose their memory sooner or later (hopefully, later). At least, I’ll have my blog to fall back on and remind me of the wonderful life I’ve lived. How many people can say that?

My friend Misty just told me the best news ever. You know how much we love “Bang Bang Wednesdays” at Bonefish Grill? Well, things just got better because Bonefish now celebrates $5 Bang Bang Shrimp almost everyday. Yes, you heard me. Bang Bang Shrimp is now $5 from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM Sunday through Thursday. FTW! But that’s not all. Here are some other menu items besides Bang Bang Shrimp that you can get for only $5:

Rum Punch
Svedka Vodka & Fresca
Raspberry Vodka Collins

Belated Happy National Tequila Day
Posted on July 25, 2012 by Ching under Food and Drink.
Mom invited Brian and me to dinner at Los Cocos last night. You never want to turn down mom’s invites because she usually buys. And free food is always good. LOL.
Of course, Los Cocos is the perfect place to celebrate National Tequila Day because they have $1.99 margaritas. So that was an added bonus.
Mom had the Monterrey, which is a smorgasbord of refried beans, guacamole, lettuce, tomato, and cheese on a tostada. Brian calls it a flat taco salad.
Jenni had a steak quesadilla.
Brian and I split a carnitas dinner, which is pretty much what I usually get at most Mexican restaurants. Why? Because I love, love, love eating pork. LOL.
On the way to the restaurant, I was really looking forward to the cheap margaritas. I figured I could have five of those things for less than $10. I was loopy after only two frozen mango margaritas though, so Brian and I agreed I shouldn’t have any more. Yup. It only took $4 to get me drunk. LOL. I’m such a lightweight!

Sunday Funday
Posted on July 24, 2012 by Ching under Life.
Brian and I played pool volleyball at Doug’s house this Sunday.
He has an amazing yard with a great pool.
We had a lot of fun, except his next door neighbor’s house caught fire the other day and it looks really bad. I feel sad for them.
Here’s a few more pictures of the damage.
Had the front of the house not been made of brick, it probably would have been gone too. It’s so terrible. Thankfully, no one was hurt.
Anyway, pool volleyball was a lot of fun. I hope we get to do it again soon!

Back at MIF Deli
Posted on July 23, 2012 by Ching under Food and Drink, Reviews.
Brian and I had the most delicious lunch at MIF Deli after our workout on Saturday. Their food is so delicious. If you haven’t been you’re missing out.
I had the curry chicken salad, which is even more delicious than I imagined it would be. It’s so good that I tried to eat all of it, even after eating two stuffed grape leaves, half a kibbe ball, and a ton of their delicious humos and pita.
Brian had a meat pie, which is one of the things that MIF Deli is best known for. He had it the last time we were there and really liked it. It’s hard for me to believe that the restaurant has been around for three decades and I’d never been there until this year. And to think I used to work just down the street from their location.
The last time we were at MIF Deli, I was so delirious from the delicious food that I accidentally left my braces at the table. It was wrapped in a napkin so they thought it was trash and threw it away. Thankfully, it was still on top of the trash so when Brian and I came back for it they were able to find it and return it to me. That was really lucky. I’m glad that we remembered my braces before we got all the way home. There’s no telling if it would have been found had more time elapsed.
On this last visit, I didn’t allow the food high to make me forget my braces. LOL. I learned my lesson the last time.
