Poker at Binion’s

Brian and I got to play poker at Binion’s, “the place that made poker famous” – LOL. I thought that was pretty cool.
Neither of us won money, but at least I outlasted Brian. =P

Aquarium at Rush Tower

I took pictures of the guy cleaning the aquarium at our hotel because I’m a nerd. LOL.
P.S. The aquarium is the center piece of Chart House.

Golden Nugget Pool

I forgot to mention the reason I was excited about staying at the Golden Nugget. I really wanted to stay there because Brian and I saw their pool featured in one of the CSI: Las Vegas episodes. It’s the episode where the shark gets loose and bites a girl lounging in the pool.
The pool looked much cooler in the TV show than it does in real life. It was still pretty cool, though.

The cool thing is that you can slide through the shark tank.
Brian was disappointed that I didn’t pack my swimsuit. I thought it would be too cold to swim so I didn’t bring it. I didn’t realize that they kept the water at a constant 85 degrees. Oh, well. Maybe next time.

Fremont Street

Brian and I had a blast at Fremont Street.
It’s like Kansas City Power & Light on steroids.
We stayed at the newer part of Golden Nugget.
Flightlinez is really cool. That’s where you zipline over Fremont Street.

DanActive Probiotic Dairy Drink

Since we can’t get Yakult around these parts, Brian and I have started drinking DanActive in the morning.
I had my doubts at first, but it is a lot like the Yakult that I grew up drinking. It’s supposed to be good for both your digestive and immune systems.
You guys should try it. You’ll get hooked!
