Happy Anniversary to Us

Happy anniversary to us! Yay!
We started our anniversary celebration at by having dinner at Red Rock. Brian wanted to go to Cibola, but I talked him out of it because we would’ve spent $100 or so on dinner alone and I figured we should be more practical than that. Red Rock was great this time around because even though it was a Saturday night, with our call-ahead, the wait was less than ten minutes. That was a pleasant surprise because, although we hoped for a short wait time, we expected to wait longer for a table. Our waiter was great. They’re always very nice at Red Rock but he was super friendly too.
After dinner Brian took me to Copa Cabana for some Latin music. We had a lot of fun dancing together. We didn’t care what anyone else thought, we ignored everyone else and just enjoyed each other’s company. When we had enough humiliating ourselves on the dance floor of Copa, we headed to America’s Pub in Old Town.
I didn’t think I was intoxicated but Brian would say otherwise. He said that our encounter with the doorman at America’s Pub was a prime example of this. All I did was point out that our last names are the same on our driver’s licenses because we are married as the doorman was holding our IDs up to the light side by side to inspect them closer. He’s like, “Newlyweds?” We’re like, “No. First anniversary!”
Anyway, we did a lot of stuff yesterday to commemorate our anniversary which I will omit for the sake of decency. Just know that we had loads of fun! I can’t wait until next year!
