Hardwicke will not be directing “New Moon”

It’s amazing what you find out when you have a lot of time on your hands. You guessed it. I am at home sick today. Bedridden. Thank God for laptops and wireless internet. I may be bedridden, but at least I’m not bored. How can you be bored when the vast world wide web awaits? LOL.

I have something else to be thankful for today. Summit has confirmed that Catherine Hardwicke will not be directing the Twilight sequel New Moon. I’m glad they are replacing her because there were just so many things about Twilight that bugged me. Anyway, I’m anxious to find out who they select to fill director position.

Incidentally, I submitted my first IMDb correction-slash-update-request today (reference number 081209-195552-238000). I noticed that Hardwicke still has New Moon listed in her filmography credits. I requested the correction citing Summit’s recent press release. There’s no point hanging on to what was.
