Thanksgiving 2008 at the Brubakers’

We spent Thanksgiving day at Brian’s parents’ house. This is pretty much tradition for us, except for 2006 when Brian’s parents spent Thanksgiving in Houston and we had to do it ourselves. Thankfully, Piccadilly sells a good Thanksgiving feast. It was probably more expensive than simply cooking ourselves, but it saved us time and it was delicious. I think better than I could have done.
Brian’s mom is a fantastic cook so I’m glad we don’t usually have to fend for ourselves. Granted Piccadilly’s food was good and it turned out okay for everyone, but it doesn’t compare to the food she prepares. Here are some photos taken on Thanksgiving day…

I think we all went a little stir-crazy while waiting for the food to be ready, specially with the aroma wafting from the oven and permeating the entire house.
My mother-in-law Donna makes the best deviled eggs…
We had both ham and turkey this year…
Everyone likes to nap after a good meal…
