I Won! I Won!

That’s right, I won tonight!
Tonight was the game at Mono’s. This is a regular Wednesday night event. I showed up at 8 and played a quick $5.00 game with Mono, Jason and Siaf. I was doing really well till Ching showed up. I don’t know if she just gave off a bad poker aura or what but as soon as she got there I started loosing (or it could be that I became more interested in the McDonald’s that she brought me?).
Anyway, I ended up in second on the first game. No biggy, only $5.00. I figured it was a warm up game. When Corey showed up we started a second game at $10.00. pay out was first and second place. It got down to Corey and I! I had Ace four blinds were 500 and 1000 and I was big blind. Corey called the big blind and I raised 3k, Corey then went all in. I had to make a decision. Was Corey bluffing (which he has done before) or was he serious and tried to slow play it till I raised. I finally called and flipped over my cards and Corey flipped over Ace 9, I was screwed.
The flop came out 2, 3, Jack. Turn was a King and the River (your going to love this!) was a 5. That’s right baby! I caught the fucking straight! I was so excited. Corey was in awe. Its all good though, we are all friends and we know that the odds are always changing. It was a good game and as always we all had fun, that’s what it’s really about.
