Wonderful Weekend
Posted on February 8, 2011 by Ching under Babies, Zumba.
Seeing Tita Sol and Molly was definitely the highlight of my weekend.
Had just enough time to make Amie’s Zumba class at West Central Genesis after our visit. The theme for the day was Superbowl so everyone (but me because I don’t have a team) came in their team’s colors.
Check out our smokin’ hot instructor in her Dallas Cowboys gear!
This is Amie showing off her mad skillz! Not everyone can walk around upside down on their hands. LOL.

No Strings Attached
Posted on February 6, 2011 by Ching under Movies.
Brian and I went to see No Strings Attached last night and thoroughly enjoyed it. I think it’s because we could relate. Relationship-wise, he’s a lot like Adam and I’m a lot like Emma. And, when we first got together, we were hooking up before we were officially a couple. We called it “making friendship.”
Just like Emma, I was emotionally detached because I tend to be crazy and jealous when I’m in a relationship. NSA was the only way it could work. Eventually, we fell in love and things did progress. Brian made me go to therapy for my jealousy and relationship hang-ups and, after one visit with this therapist who thought she was Sharon Stone in Basic Instinct, he said we didn’t have to go back. LOL.
Some pictures of Brian and I back in our NSA days…
So, for those of you who think NSA that generally ends badly, sometimes it does work out. We are living proof of it. Also, the movie was actually quite entertaining (with or without parallels to our own life). We had some good laughs in the theater.
After the movie, we stopped by Back Alley to say hi to Jay and Cory who were there watching the UFC fights there.

New Phone Accessories
Posted on February 6, 2011 by Ching under Shopping.
Since Brian and I didn’t have to help Jay and Becca after all, we had some extra time yesterday and found ourselves at the North Rock Road T-Mobile store. He picked up a dock for his phone so that he can listen to his Pandora with the phone docked (his favorite thing to do while working). We picked up a spare battery kit for me because Brian is convinced that I have a defective battery. Though, I haven’t really noticed much improvement. I think I just have a ton of apps that suck my battery life dry in the span of a few hours. I might just need to buckle down and un-install some. On the plus side, now I have an extra charging cord. 🙂

Our Failed Attempt at Saving the Day
Posted on February 6, 2011 by Ching under Life.
Jay called us from the side of the road (West bound K90 before the Oliver off ramp) yesterday. They were distracted by the beautiful day and wonderful music on their radio, and didn’t realize they were out of gas. We didn’t even take that long to get there (less than five minutes from the time he called us), but by the time we got there Motorist Assist was already on the scene and filling up their gas tank.
I was so disappointed that we didn’t get to save the day. Motorist Assist beat us to it. However, I am glad to see that they’re on top of their game. I’m pretty sure our MA is better than the MA of any other state. (Yet another reason to love living in Wichita.)
