Jack Daniel’s at Gaylord Opryland
Posted on May 28, 2012 by Ching under Food and Drink, Travel.
Our first stop upon arriving at Gaylord Opryland was Jack Daniel’s. Despite having had breakfast at the Atlanta airport (we got these disgusting sausage, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwiches from a coffee shop; I was starving so I ate mine anyway), we were hungry when we arrived at the hotel.
We shared a sandwich called the Lynchburg Social Club…
And some yummy potato wedges…
It was just the right amount of food for the two of us.

Lookin’ Forward to Rascal Flatts at the Opry
Posted on May 22, 2012 by Ching under Travel, Videos.
I’m not a huge fan of Country Music, but I’m actually looking forward to watching Rascal Flatts perform at the Grand Ole Opry this Saturday. The last time I was there, Carmen and I got to see Sara Evans, Scotty McCreery, Montgomery Gentry, Trace Adkins, LeAnn Rimes, Dierks Bentley, Eric Church and Chris Young. It was awesome!
This time the lineup consists of Jimmy Dickens, Jimmy C. Newman, Greg Bates, Mike Snider, Jim Ed Brown, Jason Crabb, Jeannie Seely, The Whites, The Grascals, Opry Square Dancers, Riders in the Sky, Bobby Osborne & the Rocky Top X-Press, and Rascal Flatts. Honestly, I think Carmen and I had the better lineup but I’m still super excited. I’ve never seen any of these musicians perform before. If it’s anything like the last time, it’s going to be a fantastic show. Woot!

Have you heard about Max Cole’s library proposal for Southeast Wichita?
Now you have. Here’s a 3D mockup of the proposed library.
If you like this idea, then sign the petition. Let’s make this happen!

My abs are still hurting from yesterday’s ab workout. Damn you, Amie!

Congratulations, Mark and Jarrica!

Brian and I had the honor of attending Mark and Jarrica’s wedding last night at Eberly Farms. It was a beautiful, Hawaiian-themed event. Mark and Jarrica make a wonderful couple and we are very happy for them.
Mark and Jarrica,
May you have many memorable years together and may the honeymoon never end!
Best wishes,
Flip and Ching
P.S. I have to give Jarrica props for their wedding program. It is the most creative one that I’ve ever seen. Fabulous job, girlie!
