New Camera

I finally bit the big one and bought my dream camera — Canon Powershot G3. I bought it from Buy.com instead of Amazon because it was almost $100 less there.. But with the 256 MB CompactFlash card and shipping (second day air) my order still reached $700. I’ve really done it this time! I’ve taken my digital camera photography addiction to an all-time high!
I hope it arrives on Monday. Just in time for the Wichita River Festival!
Speaking of the Wichita River Festival, I’m really upset that I’m going to miss the Senior Celebration and Twilight Dance! We had so much fun at the event last year. I had a blast swing dancing with Brian who could barely contain himself as he poked fun at the geriatrics. You wanna know something, though? The people Brian was poking fun at were actually more energetic and better swing dancers than he could ever hope to be. They were probably poking fun at as for (a) being the only people there under 30 or (b) our novice dancing skills or, worse yet, both!
