A Walk on the Moon

Brian and I just finished watching A Walk on the Moon. Pearl (Diane Lane) cheats on her husband Marty (Liev Schreiber) with Walker Jerome “the blouseman” (Viggo Mortensen). I felt so bad for Marty because he plays such a nice guy. He didn’t deserve to be cuckolded. By the way, you can catch Liev in his new movie, The Manchurian Candidate. It looks very promising.
At any rate, have you ever noticed how Diane Lane is always cheating on her movie husbands and getting away with it? What’s up with that?
I’m so glad that Viggo has since stepped away from the “lover” roles. I realize that he has been a movie actor forever but I didn’t really notice him until A Perfect Murder (Michael Douglas, Gwyneth Paltrow). He’s such a great actor and I feared that he would get pigeon-holed. Thank God for The Lord of the Rings.
To other Viggo fans out there. If you haven’t already seen A Walk on the Moon, I highly recommend it. There’s a tremendously sexy waterfall scene that will get you dreaming of Viggo for weeks.
