Update of my life!
Posted on September 3, 2005 by Brian under Life.
Well where do I start. I guess I should start with my friend Feifel. I am happy to say the he escaped Kansas and now lives in Idaho. He got a great job as an assistant manager for a Radio Shack their. Way to go Feifel, I’m very proud of you.
I guess next I could say that I lost a friend, someone that I considered a brother. Jason left for Atlanta a week ago, I found out that his last day was Sunday the 21st of August. My sister in law told me and I was pretty upset. I messaged him but I didn’t get any response. I’m trying to decide what hurts most, the fact that he left with out so much as a good by or the fact that he left without any word at all (almost like he was sneaking away). I guess everyone has their reasons and someday I hope to find out his.
Then recently my mother lost her job. Normally people that loose their jobs are upset for a few days then they get over it and move on. My mother on the other hand was really tore up over the whole ordeal. I’m probably going to get yelled at for writing about this event but I guess their are always negatives when writing about life. So anyway, she is really tore up that she got canned and no amount of reassurance is cheering her up. One thing that has made me stronger in this work world is the realization that I am not invincible and that if I don’t keep my nose clean and my act (relatively) straight then I get my ass kicked to the curb. I think that some of the times that I have been fired I truly deserved it, some of the other times was purely politics and I don’t play politics. However, as my father has recently pointed out, I tend to turn the worst of events into the best thing that has ever happened. My last job was the perfect example of that. I left my job due to some personal reasons and some political reasons, I was out of work for almost six months and this put a hugh strain on my wife and I’s relationship. We worked threw everything and our relationship is now stronger than it has ever been. We also have a better grasp of our finances and we don’t “Needlessly” throw money away like we used to. I also have a better job (I don’t make as much money but money’s not everything)with less stress and a better overall work environment. My stress level has diminished so much that my Doctor recently took me off my solved because it was making me sick and I apparently didn’t need it any more. He said that my body was beginning to reject my current level of medication and that it wasn’t necessary for me to be on it. This has made my wife happy because she never liked me being on it to begin with. Others that know me are probably going to stay far far away because I tend to be somewhat of a prick with out my meds, Feifel can attest to that. I have been trying to point out to my mother that things happen for a reason and that if she lets this tear her up she will never be successful again. However, if you look to the bright side of things and believe that this is good and that you can overcome this and make a better life then you will and it will be everything you want.
Other things that have been going on. My friend Branden and I are currently training to be firemen for the City of Wichita and my alliance in OGame is up to 10 members now. Other than that the one thing that I thought would never happen finally happened, I have been suckered into playing a role playing game. Anyone that knows me knows that I despise role playing games and have never wanted to play role playing games. I took on a favor for Branden and drew his character for his “Rifts” game. I decided that I was going to draw my character from the stuff I had learned from the books he let me borrow, I guess that meant that I was going to play. Now I am drawing everyone’s characters. I love the characters and the books are pretty cool, character development is something of a passion of mine and I love that form of creativity. I’m just not sure how I will like the whole roll play aspect of everything, guess well see.
Other than that I don’t have much else. I’m sorry mom if my blog offends or hurts you it wasn’t meant to, it was meant to inspire and energize!

My New Obsession!
Posted on August 22, 2005 by Brian under Toys.
My new obsession is great. I was turned on to it by a co-worker. OGame was originally designed by some Swede and they have been playing it in Europe for years. It has just recently hit the main land and is great for those that like to plan, strategize and just over all conquer the world without having to sit in front of your TV or computer for hours. It’s mostly text based, no intensive graphics. You sign up, build your resources and let it go. Check back on a daily basis (unless you’re me. I check at least three times a day. I have a tendency to piss people off and they attack me). If you wish to play just click here and sign up for “Universe 4” that’s the one that my family and I are in. Then do a search for an Alliance Tag “killmall”. Trust me its fun and not very time demanding, perfect for those lazy gamers!

My Life!
Posted on August 19, 2005 by Brian under Life.
No one reads my blog so I can pretty much write what I want.
My life is great, with one exception. ME! I’m not great. “Now why would you say that” you ask. Well here’s why. I am a jerk. I’m lazy and I have some rather bad habits that I have been trying (not so hard) to overcome that are a result of my laziness. Oh, you want more details! Ok here it is, 1. I’m a jerk. This is pretty self explanatory. I’m just a jerk. Many years of ups and downs in my life have caused me to have a rather hardened exterior and I tend to brush people the wrong way. I’m not sure if I can ever over come this but I have been giving it a try. I am sure that over time with the help of people that really know me I will over come this. But for now. I’m just a jerk. 2. I’m lazy. Well that pretty much sum’s that up. I am really lazy. I don’t like to do much of anything that involves physical activity. That means I am a couch potato and like to do things like watch TV, movies, play video games and sleep. Oh I love to sleep! This is something I have to over come immediately. The reason is well, I’m getting fat. I looked at myself in the mirror today and realized I had a double chin. Then I realized that I look pregnant. My wife picks on me from time to time but I have always blown it off. Now I see she was just politely trying to tell me that I needed to do something to correct it. The other reason I need to change is for health reasons. If I don’t change, I’m probably going to have a dammed heart attack either at work, or in the middle of sex. Talk about giving someone a complex. I think if I croaked during sex my wife would freak out and probably never have sex again. Either that or she would go on a power trip and think that he sex was so good that it kills people, it could go either way! Then there are the bad habits, as I explained. My bad habits revolve around my laziness. My most prominent bad habit is that I don’t bath every day. I know, some of you are probably saying that I’m gross. Your absolutely right. I am fucking nasty as hell and I have to change.
Now I know you are all wondering why the change. Well there are two reasons but only one really matters to me. That one reason is my wife. I do not like disappointing my wife and in the last 8 months I am sure that I have done nothing but disappoint her. I’m not going to go into great details about what I have done to disappoint her its really none of your business. Lets just say that I feel that I have not been the most ideal husband. This thought makes me sick and want to jump off the highest building in Wichita. But that would be the easy way out and it really wouldn’t make a pretty picture. Plus I wouldn’t want to give the news yet another tragedy to streach out and plaster all over TV, we have enough of that as it is. So instead I’m tightening my belt and digging in for the long haul. Because god as my witness. In the next few months, you are going to notice a Hugh change in this old man. If not then you will be reading about my death in the papers because the loss of my wife would be the end of my sanity, my life and my entire well being.
So those of you that know me and see me here on this sight, I implore you to help me in any way possible. Help me be the man that my wife loves. Help me be the man that she originally fell in love with (skinny Brian as she calls him). Help me be the man that I desperately want to be and improve not only my way of life but hers as well.
someone, any one.

What’s Taking So Long!
Posted on August 15, 2005 by Brian under Web.
Well, I know that I told everyone that I was working very hard on getting the new website functioning. However, I had to take some time off to celebrate my 3 year anniversary with my wife. We had a great time and I will give more details later (as its late and I want to go to bed). But in the meantime I will give you some pictures of where we stayed. I liked the place and it was great because on the first night that we were there, we were the only guest and had complete run of the place.
