Saturday Afternoon at Bullseye
Posted on March 4, 2013 by Ching under Family, Things to Do.
We had a great time shooting with our family and friends at Bullseye.
I got to shoot Chad’s 44 magnum. Apparently it’s the same kind of gun that Dirty Harry uses. It’s big, scary, makes a loud noise, and has quite a recoil.
Kim is a crack shot. I think it’s all of her Black Ops experience. LOL.
Brian shoots with a style all his own.
I liked that we had shooting lanes adjacent to one another so it was like having one wide shooting lane. We all got to go from lane to lane to lane just shooting various guns. Definitely more fun than shooting the same gun the whole time.
Mom and dad showed up later so they had to wait a while on the waiting list.
Brian was happy that he got to shoot dad’s carbine.
Here’s Brian admiring his work.
I love when Chad comes because he has so many guns. His Walther P22 is my favorite. I think I might get one next year.
Here’s mom and dad shooting after we left. Thank you so much to everyone who came shooting with us. We had a great time. Hope to do it again soon.

Picasso’s Pizzeria
Posted on March 4, 2013 by Ching under Food and Drink.
We ended up at Picasso’s Pizzeria on Saturday when we were denied at the food truck rally downtown. We wanted to get some Flying Stove but, as it turns out, everyone in Wichita had the same idea. It didn’t help matters that the home show was going on at Century II. Lots of hungry people meant long lines and even longer waits. Thus, we ended up at Picasso’s.
Cory and April had been there before but it was mine and Brian’s first time. Misty and her niece joined us because they didn’t want to wait an hour for food at the food truck rally. It was their first time at Picasso’s also. The food was pretty good.
Here are some photos…
Their pizzas are huge. Brian and I decided to just split one. We got the heart attack.
April’s pizza looked super yummy also.
Cory had a sandwich.
He shared his cheesy bread with us also.
Picasso’s serves good food. I’d go there again.

Dawn Thai Steakhouse & Sushi Bar
Posted on February 25, 2013 by Ching under Food and Drink.
A Thai restaurant that also serves sushi? Sure. Why not? I got to try some Dawn dishes on Saturday when I stopped by mom and dad’s house after my Zumba class. I had some time to kill before picking Brian up at the airport. I figured I would use the opportunity to visit mom and dad. Free food is always a plus.
Mom ordered food to go and brought it home so I’m not really sure what all we had. I know that the first dish is pad Thai. Mom also got the “drunken” fried rice with chicken, some kind of chicken stir fry, and an order of egg rolls. An order of egg rolls consists of three pieces so we each had one. All the dishes had really great flavor. Mom said that the restaurant serves great sushi also. I’m thinking I will have to take Brian there for dinner sometime. I’m sure that he will love it!

Trickshot Titus on Jimmy Kimmel Live
Posted on February 23, 2013 by Ching under Videos.
While I was hanging out at mom and dad’s today in Derby today, she told me about this toddler whose video had gone viral so he and his family got invited to the Today Show. Well, Jimmy Kimmel was not impressed and cracked some jokes on his show so the child’s father, Joseph Ashby, posted a video response on YouTube. Sure enough, Kimmel’s people saw it and they got invited to the show. Here are some clips.
Pretty neat. Way to go, Titus! Congrats to the Ashby family!
