Bowling Last Night

Let me tell you! Bowling was pretty exciting last night. We barely got to bowl three games (because Countryside West Lanes doesn’t start their cosmic bowling until 11:30 pm) and I bowled really crappy but we had a lot of fun. With the big group brawl at the end of the night, complete with a brownie armed with mace, it was more like an action-adventure outing rather than just your everyday variety cosmic bowling gimmick. It felt like the set of Jerry Springer! I’d never seen anything like it in years. I fought the urge to take pictures (as strong as they were – I mean, it would have been so cool to have some WWF-type pictures on here). For one, I didn’t want the other people to think I was weird (as in, what-the-hell-is-she-doing, that sort of thing). You know what I’m saying? Plus I didn’t want to offend anyone. But in speaking with Sarah this evening she made it seem that it would’ve been neat to have captured the whole thing. After all, how many times does that happen in your life? If you’re pacifists like Brian and I, probably never. Anyway, I will remember for next time.
