Aphorisms Anyone?

Better to be a man of many experiences than a man of many regrets. ~ Ching
Nick has been putting various aphorisms and proverbs in his blog. I thought I would put one on mine, too. Except I wanted one that I came up with.
I’m sure someone has already come up with this one. I tried to be safe and Googled it, though. Since it didn’t come up, then I guess it’s mine. A Chingay original. There you go. Feel free to take it and use it — just be sure to give me credit.
I had a friend in sixth grade, Micheal Sean, who used to write a whole bunch of these down. He had a notebook full. He was so prolific in coming up with these little adages. At sixth grade that’s pretty impressive, considering that most other six graders were probably still jerking off and wetting their beds. Michael Sean, though, he knew he would be a famous dead guy someday so he started writing his own aphorisms early. He was (and probably still is) one of the most clever people I know.
P.S. He’s still alive. Michael Sean, if you are reading this, this one’s for you.
