Aww, So Cute
Posted on January 10, 2008 by Ching under Babies, Sponsored Post.
Two years ago when we were looking to add to our family, I was initially interested in getting a Maltipoo (Maltese-Poodle hybrid). I really wasn’t familiar with the various hybrids but had seen pictures of Maltipoos and found them completely irresistible.
We found Molly from a breeder in Conway Springs who sold Yorkipoos (Yorkie-Poodle hybrid). I had never heard of them until then. Molly is really adorable and I love her to pieces but I think that I am partial to Malteses, which is why I think I was initially attracted to Maltipoos.
The other day I came across the web site for Salt Creek Kennel. They have the most adorable Morkies (Maltese-Yorkie hybrid). I’d never really seen a Morkie in person, but I’ve seen many pictures and I think they’re absolutely adorable!
Salt Creek Kennel currently has Morkie and Yorkie puppies for sale on their web site. Perhaps the best thing about Salt Creek is their proximity to Wichita. They’re locate just 20 miles East of Tulsa in Oklahoma so they are not that far at all from us. I think the next time we decide to add to our family we will definitely be looking them and their adorable puppies.

We Are Well On Our Way
Posted on January 6, 2008 by Ching under Sponsored Post.
With the dresser and TV finally out of the office, it feels like we are well on our way. I’m getting really excited about how the room will turn out. I can’t wait!
I really hope that we can get the house ready to put on the market by summer, though. Our house doesn’t have a fireplace and I think it will be less obvious if we are selling it in the summer because it’s not so essential during that time of year. If we sell during the winter, people are really going to notice that we don’t have one.
Although, I found this neat web site online. DESA Online Outlet has some great heating products in addition to their selection of power tools, chainsaws, lights, switches, and chimes products. I was thinking that we could install a propane gas fireplace. DESA has a great selection of decorative mantels, too. Anyway, it was a thought. Besides indoor heating products, DESA also has gas garage heaters, wall heaters (a great option if you have limited space), and some nice patio heaters. I get really excited about these things so I feel compelled to share them with everyone. Check ’em out when you get a chance.

Things To Do Before You Die
Posted on January 5, 2008 by Ching under Life, Sponsored Post.
I have a 43 things account in which I catalog the things I’ve done, am doing, and want to do someday. I recently found out that Cannady Girl has her own list on 43 things. I’m pretty sure everyone has a list. Whether they post it online and share it with the world or whether on paper in a top secret diary or whether just in their mind, everyone has a list of things to do before they die.
My list hasn’t been updated in a long time and consists of 32 things completed and 32 more things to do. My “maybe someday” list includes:
- Playing poker in Las Vegas
- Getting an MBA (I’m almost done with this one)
- Retiring young (working diligently on this one)
- Paying off my student loans (dreadful)
- Go hot air ballooning
- Publish my memoir
- Experience the Rocky Horror Picture Show
- Go parasailing (preferably someplace tropical)
- Travel to Europe
- Go skydiving
- And so on..
You get the picture. Well there’s one more thing I want to experience. I wanted to share it with you before adding it to my list. It is the National Finals Rodeo (NFR), also known as World Series of Rodeo or the Super Bowl of Rodeo. I’ve only seen this stuff on TV and from the comfort of my couch, it looks pretty exciting. Just imagine what it would be like to actually be there, in the stands!
For those of you who are not familiar with NFR, it is sponsored and organized by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA). There are seven major events: bareback riding, steer wrestling, team roping, saddle bronc riding, tie-down roping, bull riding, barrel racing (an event exclusive to women). Now, there are many rodeos held throughout the nation but why settle for one of the smaller events. If I’m going to put something on my “maybe someday” list, it’s going to be the grand daddy of them all. I’m going to go check out the NFR.
National Final Rodeo tickets are not cheap by any means. This is the World Series of Rodeo after all. You’ll also need gambling money. Who doesn’t gamble when they’re in Vegas? And lodging money, and food money, and souvenir money, yadda yadda yadda… The trip can be pretty expensive, specially if there’s more than one of you going such as in our case (Brian and I go everywhere together). However, if you start saving today you’ll have more than enough for the event which will be held later this year, during the month of December. That’s our plan anyway.
So, what about you? What’s on your to do list?

LawMax Litigation Funding
Posted on January 2, 2008 by Ching under Sponsored Post.
I’ve heard of cash advances against your credit cards but I’d never heard of cash advances against your law suit before. LawMax specializes in litigation funding. In a society where you can sue for just about anything, I guess it was only a matter of time before such a service began.
LawMax helps you avoid financial distress by offering you an advance on your law suit settlement. So you can start spending today what you will be awarded tomorrow. As with anything there are pros and cons associated with this strategy. For one, you get to pay your bills and avoid the possibility of foreclosure, eviction, bankruptcy, or ruined credit. On the other hand, you may have spent every single penny of your settlement before you even receive it. So you might not get a dime. That’s the sad part.
It’s a viable service, though, and it’s good to know that this option exists for those emergencies. You’ll never know when you’ll need an advance against your litigation. When you do, LawMax is there for you.

Bad Credit Blues!
Posted on December 14, 2007 by Ching under Sponsored Post.
Getting into debt is probably one of the worst things that can happen to someone. Trust me I know. I was up to my eyeballs once in debt, over $30,000.00 between 10 credit cards and then a house and car payment on top of that. It was a miracle that i did not get in to trouble and get a bad credit rating. However, some of my friends were not so lucky. I watched friend after friend keep spending, getting more and more credit cards then file for bankruptcy because they could not keep up with the payments. Now several years later my friends are recovered from there credit angst and are trying to build new lives with family’s and loved one’s. Except they have this bad credit looming over there heads like a storm cloud! One of my friends said that he found a place that let him shop for companies that would give him the credit he needed regardless of his past history. He said that they provide bad credit loans for just about anyone. He was excited because he was able to get out of this small apartment that he was in and got into a nice house house with the help of this place. he said they had links for all the major credit companies and he could look and compare all without having to go from link to link or having multiple windows open. If you are having a problem with your credit and want to get back on track this sounds like the way to go! I think I will tell my other friends that they need to look into this site as well.
