Reminiscing
Posted on March 5, 2012 by Ching under Life.
A couple of years ago today, Brian and I were at Derby High School to watch a production where Logan was cast one of the Munchkins. While there we perused the wall of senior pictures.
Brian showed me his dad’s photo. He was in the class of ’72.
Here’s Brian’s own photo. He was in the class of ’92.
Yes. That’s him sporting a mullet and a bolo. LOL.
Then there’s me. Anyway, I’ll leave you with this song by the Little River Band because it fits the title of this post. Enjoy!

First TGIF of the Year
Posted on March 4, 2012 by Ching under Life.
We had a great time at TGIF the other night. Mitzi’s line dancing class was a lot of fun. Makes want to go to a Country Western bar. 😉
Our group went to Fox & Hound after to continue the party.
Even though we didn’t win anything, Brian and I met some new people and had a great time. I think the best part of TGIF was when C found out that I spoke Spanish. He was like, “Is there anything you can’t do?” Don’t answer that. It felt good for a second. LOL.
TGIF was a lot of fun. Looking forward to the next one!

Some of My Favorites from Gina’s Birthday
Posted on March 4, 2012 by Ching under Life.
When you’re a big deal, you celebrate two (or three) times. Here are some pics from both weekends. This first one is of Brian and Gina Ann at Suede.
The “arrasando” crew came out to celebrate with us.
We had so much fun dancing the night away.
I’d have to say that was the most fun salsa night ever!
Brian got bit and it was captured on camera, but not to worry. We are not pressing charges because we love Katie.
Gina with her Zumba guys Adrian, Julio, and Carlos. Can’t wait until Adrian is back doing Zumba with us. We miss you, Adrian!
Me with my newest Zumba friends Meg and Katie.
Our group at Suede. Kuya Tony was there too. He should have been next to Tita Rose, but our photographer Brian couldn’t get us all to fit in the photo.
The following weekend, we met Gina and some of her friends at Abuelo’s.
Then continued the celebration at the Pumphouse after dinner.
We had a great time at the Pumphouse, even though Brian and I only stayed for an hour or so. I’d already had several glasses of sangria by then and I was getting pretty sleepy. Some get belligerent; I just pass out.
This weekend was TGIF at the East Central Genesis Health Clubs location. The branch has been known to throw the lamest TGIF parties, but this one was actually fun. Stay tuned for those pics. I’ll be posting them next.

Brian and I Visited Jan Today
Posted on February 9, 2012 by Ching under Health, Life.
Brian and I went to visit Jan, who we hadn’t seen since Friday night, over lunch today. She had her surgery on Monday and was released from the hospital on Tuesday. She is currently recovering in the comfort of her own home. Here’s a picture of the location of her four stents. What a trooper!

Barefoot Sandals
Posted on February 3, 2012 by Ching under Life.
Remember how I begged and begged Cousin Tracy to let me take care of “something blue” for the wedding? We picked up the barefoot sandals that I had custom made for her the other day. They are absolutely perfect for a beach wedding!
I’m super excited to give them to Cousin Tracy at brunch on Sunday!
