Peabody Blows!

Our trip to Peabody was fun but actually pretty uneventful. I’m sure by now you have read my wife’s entry. She makes everything seem like an adventure, that’s why I love her so much. As for me, I was actually kind of bored and irritated. On the plus side, we had a great breakfast. I was very impressed with the small town dinner. I wished that there were more places like that around here to eat. We never did find the land that they were giving away but we figure it’s the fields that are around the town that were available or it’s a special area out side of town that has been set aside just for this program. Either way, we are not moving out their due to the cost of gas prices and it took a half a tank just to get their. This is my second posting for my full day of uninterrupted world of warcraft play. I am looking forward to this. I’m thinking that I can probably do about 13 hours of game play before I either have to get up and move or my ass revolts and decided to eat me alive in my chair. Either way I will be happy to have played for that long cause so far since I have gotten the game I have only played a few hours a day. 13 or more hours would be like Christmas to me. So if you never hear from me again it’s because I died at my keyboard playing the greatest game in the world (when it works). Now I have to figure out how to convince my wife that I will need the burning crusade expansion pack when it comes out. Â

Lets Make a Deal

I was looking at another one of my favorite web places again and I got the idea that I should start my own web space again. This time I think I’m going to focus on my art work and only my art work. Just upload a few images and sketches here and their and then make comments about them like what I was thinking when I drew the picture or weather it was a doodle or just a random sketch. If it works out I may be able to get some odd jobs on the side with some cartoonist or something. I guess the first step is to build the site then work from their. I think I’m going to use Word Press because it’s versatile and incredibly easy to use.  Â
On a side note. My wife made a deal with me. I told her that I wanted to have a day, a complete and whole day that I could play World of Warcraft without interruption. She said that she would allow that after the garage sale if I blogged three times before then. So here they are released like the Star wars Trilogy in all their glory. My three Blogs. This is blog 1, enjoy!Â

This was a pretty accurate test for me. I play a Hunter in World of Warcraft. It is the same as a Ranger in D&D.

I’m getting simple in my old age.

My birthday is in like a month. I have never had this much difficulty deciding what kind of birthday present I want. Normally by now I know exactly what I want and I think I will be satisfied with that decision. However, this year I can not make that decision. I have bounced from a light table for my art work to a new tattoo all the way to a laptop and now down to a new cell phone. While we are on the subject of new cell phones, I used to like cell phones with all the gadgets and gizmos. Today I find myself looking at the simple phones, something to just fulfill my needs. Color display, text messaging and that’s about it. I think I have finally decided that what I truly want is the simple things in life, my wife, my animals and a roof over my head. Anything else is just a bonus! My current decision for my birthday and the one that I have decided that I want the most is a new Nokia 6101 and maybe some gold for my World of Warcraft character (the online game that I am seriously addicted to). Ching told me last night that even she is not this difficult to shop for. I think it’s just my old age.Â

That much closer to 500K!

I can’t believe it. Me, the guy that gets knocked out before break and never wins anything beat out 1400 plus people to win a seat at a 1 million dollar tourney. I played my best poker ever tonight and I myself could not believe it. I thought I was going to have a heart attack during the last 60 some odd people. Then when it was down to the last 5 I thought I was going to piss my pants. Ching was griping the back of my chair trying to tell me to “go all in, fold, just call, your in position”. It was stressful; I couldn’t believe how much I was stressing. I was sweating my ass off I was so nervous. But I did it, I got my seat. Now the only problem is the dammed tourney is on Saturday the 13th. So either it will be one game that they will have everyone at or it will be several small games that will culminate into one game for the big prize. I’m hoping that it will not be during the party, otherwise we will be loading UB on Ching’s parent’s computer and I will be playing while everyone else is partying.Â
