We took some fun pictures with the Wichita flag on our final day at the resort. Here are some of my favorites.
This pretty much takes us to the end of our 2019 Cancun adventure. I hope you enjoyed reading about our trip and looking at pictures as much I did recalling all of the details. It was very memorable trip and the best extended birthday celebration ever. #VacayWithJayJay #ChingTurns21X2

XPLOR and XPLOR Fuego

XPLOR is definitely a highlight of our trip. As adventure parks go, XPLOR has so much to offer. The park has several zip-line circuits, amphibious ATV course that goes through the jungle and caverns, hammock zip-line, underground river swim, and interesting caves to walk through in between activities.

There’s so much to do at the park, you can’t really just spend a couple of hours there. I recommend spending at least a half day to do everything. There are activities for everyone. And they had the best zip-lines. We are totally hitting this adventure park again on our next trip! Until then. GNG.

Exploring Hotel Xcaret

Dinner at Xin-Gao

Becca arranged for us to have dinner at this amazing teppanyaki grill at the resort on one of the evenings.
Here are some pictures of the restaurant interior and furnishings.
We were waiting for Jay, Tina, and Justin to return from XPLOR. Becca took the afternoon off and didn’t go with them. The three of us — Becca, Brian, and I — went to Xin-Gao to hold our reservation.

This is the miso soup, which was presented beautifully.

These were the most beautifully plated hibachi dinners I’d ever seen.

Our Day at Xel-Ha

Here are some pictures from our day at Xel-Ha.
Here’s one of the amazing views at Xel-Ha. On the right, you can see the lighthouse which is a very tall slide.
This is a picture of me going down the slide.
Brian walked to the top with me but he didn’t want to go down the slide. I actually did it twice. The first time I took the slow slide, which was too slow, so I walked all the way back up and went down the faster slide.
Brian got a video of me going down the slide.
We got to see some amazing views and took a bunch of selfies.

We also went down and wrote on the beach.
Here’s a video of us walking through a grotto a Xel-Ha.
One of our favorite activities from that day was just floating along the river. It was a nice and leisurely float until it started raining on us.
That was another fun day. We highly recommend making the trip to Xel-Ha if you’re ever in the area. Until next time. GNG.
