Romantic Dinner Scotch & Sirloin
Posted on August 26, 2009 by Ching under Family, Food and Drink.
David and Donna took us out to dinner last night at Scotch & Sirloin for our anniversary. As though the ambiance weren’t romantic enough, the power went out while we were there. We had to eat our dessert by candlelight.
On the bright side, at least we were finished with our meals and were already on dessert when the power went out. Here are some photos..

Brian Tries to Fix Jan’s Garage Door
Posted on August 23, 2009 by Ching under Moblog.
On Saturday morning, Brian tried (in vain) to fix Jan’s garage door. No such luck but he did manage to schedule an appointment with the Sears technician. They’ll be coming tomorrow to replace the sensors, which Brian and Jan have both deemed faulty. Hopefully, that will fix the problem.
Anyway, since the garage door endeavor was unsuccessful, the three of us decided to go have breakfast at The Good Egg instead. The food was good as always, but the service — not so much.
That was Saturday. Today, we went to visit Apple and Zane.
Happy one-month birthday, baby Zane!
