Gelato at Caffe Moderne

Brian took me to lunch at Caffe Moderne today. At first I thought I wanted dessert, but then after I ate my Garbo (my favorite sandwich there) I got full so I decided against it. Then our server came over and told me they had two special flavors today, rocky road and pumpkin. Without much effort on her part, I was talked into getting some rocky road gelato. Just goes to show you how fickle I am when it comes to deciding… to dessert or not dessert.
“Hmmm… How did she know I am partial to rocky road? Am I that transparent?” I asked Brian.
“Well, you’re a little marshmallow-y and nutty at the same time.”
I’m a walking rocky road gelato. Good to know.
P.S. Today is Jenni’s 28th birthday. Uh, oh. Someone is getting older! Happy birthday, Jenni!
