Chingism at Gander Mountain
Posted on September 14, 2009 by Ching under Things to Do, Wishlist.
After lunch at Freddy’s Chad, Brian, and I decided to check out some shotguns at Gander Mountain. I learned a lot about guns and hunting that day. Humans are considered big game, apparently, or so one of the store employees told us.
Along those lines I made an astute observation only one as clever as myself could make. I told Chad and Brian that the guns on the rack labeled “waterfowl” are for shooting waterfowl and the guns on the rack labeled “turkey” are for shooting turkey; therefore, the guns on the rack labeled “youth” must be for shooting youth. Now that school is back in session, I wonder if youth hunting season is over. LOL.
I’m joking, of course. They really need to relabel those gun racks, though, because it really is misleading. What if someone truly thought they could shoot kids because they have a valid hunting license? Bwaha ha ha ha ha ha! =P

My Dream Home
Posted on September 1, 2009 by Brian under Life, Wishlist.
I have talked about it for years. I want to have a house made out of something like an Airplane Hangar or one of those gigantic Shipping containers that they pack cars in.
Well here is is, my Dream Home.

The best part, if you don’t like where you live and you want to move, then just ship your dammed house to another location.

No RNR Planned This Weekend
Posted on August 13, 2009 by Ching under Life, Wishlist.
We have another busy weekend ahead of us. First stop tomorrow night is the Buzz “After Work Party” at Heroes to hang out with Sunny and Scott. I believe Jenni and Misty will be coming to hang out. Hopefully Darcy will come and hang out with us after work also.
Saturday will be spent at Wellington Lake for the Midwest Rockfest. Brian and I are super excited. We haven’t been to one of these things in years!
Here’s the lineup:
11:40 AM Red Headed Stepchylde 12:35 PM The Samuel Band 1:30 PM IMI 2:30 PM Into the Presence 3:45 PM Egypt Central 5:15 PM Eve 6 7:00 PM Candlebox 8:45 PM Saliva 10:30 PM Puddle of Mudd
The next day we will at Tanganyika Wildlife Park. We’ve never been there so we are super excited about that also. There will be no RNR this weekend, unfortunately.
Last weekend’s spa visit was so awesome that I can’t wait to do it again. We have to save some money, though, because it wasn’t cheap. We splurged a little, with it being our 7th wedding anniversary and all. Anyway, I was so relaxed last Saturday that when Lezlie greeted us “Happy Anniversary” as we were leaving — I said “Thanks. You too!” I was so out of it. I hope in a few months I can be that out of it again.

Ural Motorcycles
Posted on July 19, 2009 by Brian under Toys, Wishlist.
Today Ching and I watched this movie “Eastern Promises”. It was a really good movie and I thought Vigo Mortensen did a good job in his role.
However, I was completely taken by this Motorcycle that one of the lead characters was riding. It was called a Ural and is made in Russia. I know that everyone is rolling there eyes right now and thinking “Russia, it must be crap”. Quite the opposite actually. I found out that these Motorcycles are actually quite good and reliable. I have been looking into them and they are used quite a bit on Safari expeditions and forest outings because they have side cars and 2 wheel drive.
This bike is my favorite is the Sahara (pictured below).
This bike just looks tough. It has the 2wd option and a lot of cool extras that make it look like its ready to just jump off the road and into the outback.
If I were to come into some money I think this would definitely be one of the first things that I bought.

Ching Bling – By Popular Demand
Posted on July 15, 2009 by Ching under Toys, Wishlist.
Okay, so not really by popular demand. Just by Cannady Girl. =P
About three years ago I had to get an upgrade on my bridal set because my fingers got too fat. Well, we could have gotten my rings sized but it would have cost $250 to size both the engagement and wedding bands and solder them together. Supposedly because when they size it up they have to add more Platinum.
Fast forward to 2009. My fingers have gotten fatter still. They don’t carry my bridal set anymore so I had to go with a different style. Now I’m using this three-stone ring as my wedding band.
I really hope I don’t get any fatter because I’m tired of upgrading. I’m beginning to think that the whole upgrading thing was created by jewelry stores to con more money out of you. Like jewelry isn’t marked up enough already.
