Present Day
Posted on May 5, 2010 by Ching under Wishlist.
And so it continues… Here’s a picture of Brian and his dad attaching one of the decals they made using the Cricut Expression Electronic Cutting Machine. It’s the coolest thing since sliced bread. You can get yourself one from Amazon for about $250
.
I know Brian probably wants one now too, so he can plaster his truck with decals all over. It’s like tattoos for your car. LOL!

Storage Ottoman
Posted on April 18, 2010 by Ching under Shopping, Wishlist.
Darn it! The storage ottoman I got from Target last month went on sale. Brian said we got ours for $80 and now they’re only $67. Grrrr! Don’t you just hate it when that happens?
Anyway, I love, love, love this storage ottoman. We have in our bedroom at the end of the bed and it holds all my jewelry making and craft stuff. It worked out because now I have more room in my closet for other stuff. LOL.
If you’re looking for a good, cheap storage ottoman, then check this one out. You can get it both in stores and online (link at the left if you don’t have a Target store nearby).
I’m very happy with the purchase of this ottoman. The only thing that makes me mad is that I should have waited one month to do it. Booo!
P.S. Speaking of storage ottomans (benches), there’s a nice one at JC Penney for only $80 (regularly $180) in a beige-y cream color. JCP also has cheap $40 faux leather bar stools. They look great in the picture. I haven’t seen them in person, though.

Shopping for Toys
Posted on April 15, 2010 by Ching under Wishlist.
We took Matthias to Best Buy today to pick up a 32GB iPod Touch for one of his colleagues back in Germany. Apparently, electronics are much cheaper in the US. Probably partially because the value of the Euro is better.
Matthias did really well because he printed the web site page showing the iPod for only $269.99 (they were $299.99 at the store). Besides that, the store clerk didn’t charge him any sales tax so he got a really good deal for his friend.
While there, both Brian and Matthias took advantage of the opportunity to play with some iPads. They’re pretty neat. We’re too broke, though. I think we’re going to be late adopters on this one. =P

2010 HGTV Dream Home
Posted on January 9, 2010 by Ching under Wishlist.
Have you seen the 2010 HGTV dream home? It looks absolutely amazing. This master suite is absolutely fantastic.
So I asked mom if she’d seen this year’s HGTV dream home. She said an emphatic, “No!”
Apparently she’s boycotting the HGTV dream home sweepstakes this year because they must have mailed a hundred or so entries last year, and she said that she and dad both entered online every single day that the sweepstakes ran, and they still didn’t win. LOL.
I usually enter only once or twice. That way if I don’t win, which is usually the case, then I’m not upset about all of the effort I expended, which usually is very minimal. If it’s meant to be, then you really only need one entry. If it’s not meant to be, then it’s not meant to be.
I told Brian that if I won the HGTV dream home, I’d probably drop everything and move. I was half-joking, of course. Have you seen the house, though? I could totally live there. In fact, I hear it calling my name right now. =P
