Dad’s New Airboat
Posted on May 30, 2013 by Ching under Toys.
We went to visit mom and dad tonight so Brian had the opportunity to check out dad’s newest project: a radio-controlled airboat.
Dad built this thing from scratch. He’s crafty like that.
This is Brian drooling at dad’s new toy.
Lucky for Brian, dad’s going to bring the boat over on Saturday so they can play with it in the pond out back. We do have to bribe him with breakfast, though.

Christmas Came Early for Brian
Posted on December 1, 2012 by Ching under Toys.
Nothing says “steal me” like a Black & Decker box on your front porch. Good thing we had time to run home and bring the box in the house.
Brian has been wanting one of these for several months now. Our friend Feifel even tried to get us to buy an edger and blower set that they were selling at Lowe’s. We decided to hold out until next year, though. I’m really glad that we held out because we saw this one on Amazon over the weekend of Black Friday, and the price was even better. We ended up getting a bush trimmer in addition to the edger and leaf blower.
It’s pretty much got everything you need to keep your yard looking immaculate. Here’s photo of Brian modeling one of his new toys.
Brian is sooo spoiled. =P

Samsung Galaxy Player 5.0
Posted on January 15, 2012 by Ching under Toys.
Brian bought a Samsung Galaxy Player from his coworker who had won it at the SAP Conference last November. Brian’s coworker bought an iPad 2 for himself for Christmas and couldn’t find use for the Samsung. He decided to offer it to Brian for $75. It was supposedly a deal we couldn’t pass up. LOL.
The device is basically an MP3 player that is on an Android platform so you can install various apps on it. It’s just like our phones, only bigger. Makes watching Netflix movies more pleasant. Though, we wouldn’t really do that because we would just as soon watch Netflix movies on our TV when we are home. Speaking of TV, since it’s also Samsung, the player can communicate with our TV just like our phones can using the AllShare feature. It’s nice when all of your technology works together seamlessly.
At the moment, I mostly just use it to listen to my Pandora music stations when I’m getting ready for work in the morning. I also have my Kindle app loaded so I can read my books on it, but I haven’t really had time to do that. Anyway, I’m not sure what else to use it for? Any ideas?

Pictures of Brian in the Passat
Posted on April 10, 2011 by Ching under Toys, Wishlist.
I know I mentioned before that I wanted my next car to be a convertible, but the Passat has turned into a viable contender. Why? Well… Look at it. Doesn’t Brian look sexy driving it? I think that is reason enough. LOL.
Here’s what the dash looks like in the daylight…
