Because We are Geeky

Brian and I wore our matching wi-fi detector shirts
from Think Geek
to poker on Friday. Remember when I played poker dressed as a school girl four years ago? Basically, we played poker dressed as geeks. Not such a departure, I know. There’s nothing like announcing it in your clothing though.
Gimmicks don’t really work. I can say this from experience. I’ve never had so much fun losing at poker, though. I have this necklace that has “Embrace your Inner Goofball” written on it. I believe the same is true for your inner nerd. 🙂

Brian and Becca at the Final Table

Brian and Becca both made the final table last night. You go guys!
Brian didn’t make the money, but Becca took second. She deserved to be first, though. Your opponent just kept getting lucky. Becca went in with the best hand each time and got sucked out on. Boo! Congrats to Becca for taking down second place, though.
