New Year’s Eve Dinner

Posted on January 1, 2010 by under Flickr, Things to Do, Travel.

Brian and I met up with Jay, Becca and Mama Dill at Raglan Road (at Kansas City Power & Light District) last night. We had a blast!

Wonderland performed at Raglan Road. Right outside, there were a couple of bands on the KC Live! stage. We stepped out just in time for one of the cash showers. Jay and Mama Dill caught quite a few. Brian got a measly dollar. LOL. He was more busy trying to protect me from the mob of people trying to catch dollar bills than trying to catch money himself.

Pomeroy performed right before the ball drop. They continued their set after. We left right after the ball drop and cash shower, though. It was way too cold out there. New Year’s Eve was a lot of fun.

The Year that Was… 2010 : Life After Marriage  on January 23, 2011

[…] We rang in the New Year at Kansas City Power & Light with the Dills. That was a lot of fun. Even though we stood outside in the cold for the ball drop, it was worth it because the Dills picked up a few bucks when they rained dollar bills over the crowd. Of course, I didn’t get any. That night pretty much set the tone of the entire year. We did a lot of traveling in 2010. More that we’d ever done in all of our years together. […]
