Not so much this time, though. <\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/ching\/8843540709\/\"  title=\"Untitled by Ching, on Flickr\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/farm4.staticflickr.com\/3686\/8843540709_14f8557ec4.jpg\" width=\"500\" class=\"pic\" height=\"375\" alt=\"Untitled\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Brian and I decided to try Doo-Dah Diner after church yesterday. I&#8217;d heard so many good things about the restaurant that I had such high expectations.<\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/ching\/8844325622\/\"  title=\"Untitled by Ching, on Flickr\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/farm4.staticflickr.com\/3682\/8844325622_7827c6f552.jpg\" class=\"pic\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" alt=\"Untitled\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Brian got what he usually orders at most breakfast places: biscuits and gravy, hash browns, and two eggs fried hard. He was disappointed that his biscuits were hard as hockey pucks. He said they weren&#8217;t fresh by any means. The sausage gravy was okay but bland as with the hash browns and eggs. <\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/ching\/8843708713\/\"  title=\"Untitled by Ching, on Flickr\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/farm4.staticflickr.com\/3792\/8843708713_fb8d1e00b7.jpg\" class=\"pic\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" alt=\"Untitled\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I ordered the country fried steak dinner which came highly recommended on FourSquare but, like Brian&#8217;s meal, everything on my plate was under seasoned. It&#8217;s like they ran out of salt in the kitchen or something.<\/p>\n<div style=\"float:left; padding-right:15px; padding-top:5px;\"><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.urbanspoon.com\/r\/329\/1701114\/restaurant\/Doo-Dah-Diner-Wichita\" ><img alt=\"Doo-Dah Diner on Urbanspoon\" src=\"http:\/\/www.urbanspoon.com\/b\/link\/1701114\/biglink.gif\" style=\"border:none;padding:0px;width:200px;height:146px\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<p>I&#8217;ve had some friends who have had wonderful dining experiences at Doo-Dah and some who haven&#8217;t, but the general consensus is this place serves great food is awesome overall. Our server was definitely friendly. Although, I wish the quality of the food lived up to the restaurant&#8217;s reputation. Perhaps we didn&#8217;t order the right things.
