Cousin Tracy and Jeff took me to Mi Cocina at Sundance Square (just down the street from my hotel on Tuesday night). Here are some food pics.<\/p>\n

On Thursday, I had a late lunch at the airport before I hopped on the flight home. I ate at Pappacito’s which actually had pretty good Tex-Mex. Who would have thought you’d find good food at the airport? Well, actually… ” title=”Ku-Va”>After my experience with Ku-Va in Miami<\/a>, I had pretty high hopes.<\/p>\n

I’d say this would have to be the second best airport food I’d ever eaten because it wasn’t as good as Ku-Va<\/a>, but it was pretty darn good. Pappacito’s tortilla chips remind me of those served at Abuelo’s. I liked the flavor of their salsa, which wasn’t too spicy. The cheese dip with beef was also pretty good. I had a couple of crispy tacos: one beef and one chicken. They were both good, but the chicken was very, very good. I’m not sure what they did with it, but it had great flavor. I got lucky that the restaurant was right next to my gate. Next time I’m in Texas, I’m definitely going to look for a Pappacito’s to enjoy some more of that yummy Tex-Mex!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
