Brian’s clothes are now too big for him. Ugh. We were trying to hold out for another few months, but it doesn’t seem like that’s going to be possible. We wanted to wait until we can go back to Legends to do some outlet shopping, but I think we need to get him some new clothes immediately. Even his belts are now too big for him too. <\/p>\n

I’m having the same problem as well. Last week I had to use a safety pin to cinch my blouse in the back because it was too baggy. I was thinking they used to sell these elastic clips that cinched your blouse in the back, back in the 80s or 90s. You can’t find them anywhere anymore. Those would have been really useful. <\/p>\n

Anyway, I had to retire a bunch work blouses so I took them to my mom over the weekend. I have quite a few more clothes I need to get rid of, among them are a couple of skorts that I got from Ann Taylor last year. I think my mom would really like them. I just need some time this weekend (a few hours will do) to go through my closet and start getting rid of the clothing items that no longer fit. <\/p>\n

I would keep them, but alterations are just so expensive. It cost me $20 to get one of my skirts altered a few weeks ago. It’s cheaper to just buy new stuff. Specially if there’s a good sale going on.<\/p>\n

Jan gave me a coupon to Kohl’s before she left on vacation. I haven’t been there in about a year, so I’m actually looking forward to checking things out. Hopefully, they have a good sale going so that Brian and I can pick up a few inexpensive work clothes to tide us over until we can do some real clothes shopping.<\/p>\n
