Waxman Candles<\/a> was definitely a trip highlight. The store, which has been around for over 40 years, is a Mass Street landmark.<\/p>\n

There were so many varieties of candles to choose from, it was like I’d died and gone to candle heaven. I bet April would really love this place!<\/p>\n

It’s a wonder that we didn’t spend any more than we did.<\/p>\n

The folks at Waxman are so nice. They let us see the back room and the back<\/i> back room. We got to watch them make some candles.<\/p>\n

I even got to meet the Waxman himself.<\/p>\n

It was pretty cool! Actually, the entire downtown Lawrence is pretty cool. There are so many restaurants and shops Mass Street that it really takes more than just a day to take it all in. Brian and I are already planning our next trip. =)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
