Actually, Brian and I told each other that we wouldn’t buy presents for each other this year because our New Year’s Eve trip to Las Vegas is supposed to be our Christmas. However, I did promise him that he could get his Vibram FiveFingers TREKSPORT shoes<\/a> early so that he could bring them to Vegas and wear them on the trip. We had looked at them a few months ago at Backwoods and decided to wait. Brian got his day the other day. Merry Christmas, baby!<\/strong><\/p>\n

They look weird, don’t they? I’ve been seeing more and more people wearing them around town, though. There’s a guy who wears them to muscle pump at North YMCA and a woman who wears them to Zumba at the East branch.<\/p>\n

They came over for a nightcap the other night, after Becca won the 7:30 pm poker tournament at the Players Club. Congrats, Becca! We had some wine and cheese (our favorite kind) and Triscuits, and we gave them a couple of ornaments for their Christmas tree that we picked up at Old Cowtown Museum.
