We were walking around Sam’s Club when, out of the Blue, Brian goes “I think we should get life insurance.”<\/p>\n
“What do you mean?” I asked, “When I die, you will get money from my work.”<\/p>\n
“Yes, but I worry about you.”<\/p>\n
“I can take care of myself, baby.” <\/p>\n
This was weird. We had talked about getting additional life insurance coverage aside from what is offered by our respective employers, but I was thinking this was ten years further down the road. At least until we’re in our 40s. I mean, we’re both healthy and everything.<\/p>\n
This led me to ask, “Are you going to kill me?” I think the random question surprised Brian so I had to elaborate. “I mean, getting life insurance is what husbands do right before<\/i> they murder their wives.”<\/p>\n
“You watch too much TV,” Brian concluded.<\/p>\n
He’s probably right. I am watching “Young, Beautiful & Vanished: 15 Most Unthinkable Crimes” on E! HD right at this very moment. I think I should stick to HGTV HD. LOL.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
