I spent the entire day in bed again today, recovering from this sickness. I’m tired of being sick already. Anyway, since I was at home by myself with nothing to do, I’d been watching TV. I was a total “bed” potato. I watched several episodes of Platinum Weddings<\/a> on WEtv and TLC’s Say Yes to the Dress<\/a>.<\/p>\n

I’d heard of Say Yes to the Dress<\/a> before, but I’d never seen or heard of Platinum Weddings<\/a>. The show is like My Super Sweet 16 for brides. These are the most lavish and extravagant weddings. They’re just out of this world. It’s fun to watch, but it makes you wonder what these people do for a living to afford spending so much money on an event that only lasts a few hours. With divorce rates being so high, is it wise to go into debt for a wedding? I mean, you don’t want to be paying for your wedding long after you’re divorced. LOL. Unless, these people just have so much money that $1M for a wedding is just chump change and they just have it laying around so they don’t have to borrow it. The whole wedding industry sure didn’t seem to be in a recession from what I watched on TV today.<\/p>\n

Since we’re now watching a Say Yes to the Dress<\/a> marathon, Brian was like “How many dresses did you try on?” I actually tried on several dresses, but I ended up choosing the first one that I tried on. Here are some of the dresses, I tried on.<\/p>\n

Watching all those bridal and wedding shows on TV today made me relive memories of our wedding<\/a>. It’s a shame you only get married once. LOL. It was so much fun. I want to do it all over again. <\/p>\n

Maybe in 8 years Brian and I can renew our vows for our 15th wedding anniversary (or after 13 years for our 20th). It won’t be a Platinum Wedding, but I’m sure it will be amazing and just as fun as the first time around (if not more).<\/p>\n
