My progression has been as follows:<\/p>\n<p><strong>In July<\/strong>, I observed some ladies play American mah jongg at TapNPaddles.<\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/ching\/55432128653\/in\/datetaken\/\"  title=\"Untitled\"><img src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/55432128653_eac73db4dd_c.jpg\" width=\"500\" alt=\"Untitled\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>In August<\/strong>, I played for the first time.<\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/ching\/55434781032\/in\/datetaken\/\"  title=\"Untitled\"><img src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/55434781032_ae125d49c2_b.jpg\" width=\"500\" alt=\"Untitled\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/ching\/55434806137\/in\/datetaken\/\"  title=\"Untitled\"><img src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/55434806137_d059f8b52a_c.jpg\" width=\"500\" alt=\"Untitled\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Playing in the pool was amazing and I was actually thinking I don&#8217;t know why you would want to play any other way. LOL. <a href=\"https:\/\/brubakers.us\/?p=31035\" >Since I was gone for almost the entire month of August<\/a>, I didn&#8217;t get to play at all again until last night when <a href=\"https:\/\/youtube.com\/shorts\/k9buNmff6fA?si=gQQzWsUKW9QRQ9dP\"  rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">we celebrated Carrie Soto&#8217;s birthday at TapNPaddles<\/a>. She had seven tables, plus some spectators. It was so much fun. <\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/ching\/55517015216\/in\/datetaken\/\"  title=\"Untitled\"><img src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/55517015216_280e7fe240_c.jpg\" width=\"500\" alt=\"Untitled\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>It was her birthday but she gave away prizes. She gave winners vintage dice and matching dice dishes. She has such a generous spirit. <\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/ching\/55517015091\/in\/datetaken\/\"  title=\"Untitled\"><img src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/55517015091_497cb9fb07_c.jpg\" width=\"500\" alt=\"Untitled\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>She let us pick from a wide array of beautiful dice and dice dishes. There were three different ones I considered but this is the one I ultimately chose. <\/p>\n<p>Anyway, since the MILP team tournament got canceled, I guess I&#8217;m playing mah jongg again this weekend.
