I&#8217;m usually the one going out of town so this reversal of roles was quite a change of pace. The first day was super easy because it was a work day. Brian left first thing in the morning so it was just me and Saki the entire day, but it wasn&#8217;t really different than any other Friday when Brian goes to work and I&#8217;m working from home. Except this time he didn&#8217;t come home. <\/p>\n<p>Brian picked up his dad from Oklahoma and the two of them drove to Mississippi to pick up some of his late Aunt Sandy&#8217;s personal items. It&#8217;s quite a drive so he didn&#8217;t come home until Sunday. In the meantime, I had the whole weekend to myself. What to do? What to do?<\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/ching\/53535228648\/\"  title=\"Untitled\"><img src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/53535228648_c115d9f3f3_c.jpg\" width=\"500\" alt=\"Untitled\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I didn&#8217;t have a commitment until my 4 PM team league at West YMCA so I had a nice leisurely Saturday. I kinda spent most of the morning in bed, reading my <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3T8sXvl\"  rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Silo<\/a> book and napping. I actually finished book one (Wool) last weekend. And then I grabbed some lunch and picked up a donation for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.andoverrotaryclub.org\/content\/picklemania\"  rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Picklemania MMXXIV<\/a> from <a href=\"https:\/\/topgolf.com\/us\/wichita\/\"  rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Top Golf<\/a>. Came back home and read some more before heading to the Y for league.<\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/ching\/53535548746\/\"  title=\"Untitled\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/53535548746_58f9507336.jpg\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" alt=\"Untitled\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>My schedule on Sunday was much more structured. I started out at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.chickennpickle.com\"  rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Chicken N Pickle<\/a>, filling in for Kendra during Team Freddy&#8217;s practice because she had to go out of town. And then I was off to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thesandboxusa.com\"  rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">the Sandbox<\/a> to deliver some <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ipicklenation.com\"  rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">iPickle Nation<\/a> awards and also stream the games. Then it was a quick bite to eat before heading to the Genesis in Goddard to hit Missy&#8217;s Zumba class. <\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"A Day in the Life\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Oj0CLzrLv1c?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>And then it was time to feed myself and Saki. I made one of our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hellofresh.com\/pages\/raf_lp11?c=FIH-G0N0I8L8C61U&#038;utm_campaign=referralinvite&#038;utm_medium=clipboard&#038;utm_source=freebies&#038;utm_invitername=Cherrie&#038;utm_term=web&#038;discount_comm_id=992270dc-a684-4b10-bd34-da8bb5f811b2\"  rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Hello Fresh<\/a> dinners. It was so relaxing, I felt like that Alena Skaya lady on Insta who always shares the &#8220;love myself&#8221; reels. When Brian came home, he ate the rest of the Hello Fresh dinner I made and I did some more reading before bed.
