{"id":28698,"date":"2023-12-01T11:39:14","date_gmt":"2023-12-01T17:39:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/brubakers.us\/?p=28698"},"modified":"2023-12-01T11:41:01","modified_gmt":"2023-12-01T17:41:01","slug":"wild-lights-at-the-zoo-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/brubakers.us\/?p=28698","title":{"rendered":"Wild Lights at the Zoo"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Here are some highlights from when we went to <a href=\"https:\/\/scz.org\/\"  rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Sedgwick County Zoo<\/a> to check out this year&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/scz.org\/event\/wild-lights\"  rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Wild Lights exhibit<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Wild Lights at the Zoo\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Q69MvyidgSk?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s a brand new way to experience the zoo that started a few years ago. You basically get to walk around after dark. It&#8217;s not completely dark though because they have these massive, amazing, colorful lantern and light installations. There is a different theme each year and this year it is Alice in Wonderland.<\/p>\n<p>Kendra doesn&#8217;t like Alice in Wonderland but she was a good sport and went to check out the exhibit with us anyways. I had four free tickets so Brian, Kendra, Colby, and I went.
