{"id":28247,"date":"2023-09-14T13:21:20","date_gmt":"2023-09-14T18:21:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/brubakers.us\/?p=28247"},"modified":"2023-09-14T13:21:20","modified_gmt":"2023-09-14T18:21:20","slug":"tulsa-eats","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/brubakers.us\/?p=28247","title":{"rendered":"Tulsa Eats"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;m not really a huge fan of chain restaurants and would prefer to visit local eateries when out of town but, as we do not have a Cheesecake Factory here in Wichita, Brian and I decided we would make an exception. <\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/ching\/53157495950\/\"  title=\"Untitled\"><img src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/53157495950_8e56edda89_c.jpg\" width=\"500\" alt=\"Untitled\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s been quite a long time since we&#8217;ve been to a Cheesecake Factory. The nice thing about it is, their vast menu is pretty standard across all locations. And that honey wheat bread is so, so good. <\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/ching\/53157272754\/in\/photostream\/\"  title=\"Untitled\"><img src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/53157272754_1c9ff80805_c.jpg\" width=\"500\" alt=\"Untitled\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We weren&#8217;t very hungry so we just selected a few things so as not to overeat. We had the crab cake bites; Brian had a flatbread cheese pizza; and I had the homemade meatballs.<\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/ching\/53157495880\/in\/photostream\/\"  title=\"Untitled\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/53157495880_1035831525.jpg\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" alt=\"Untitled\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>It was more than enough to fill us up. <\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/ching\/53157495855\/in\/photostream\/\"  title=\"Untitled\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/53157495855_18355682a4.jpg\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" alt=\"Untitled\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Our next meal was at Ted&#8217;s Cafe Escondido because we were with Tiffany and Donnie Lesperance and they absolutely love Mexican food. <\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/ching\/53157639224\/\"  title=\"Untitled\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/53157639224_25458bc4e7.jpg\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" alt=\"Untitled\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>This is also a chain but one that we don&#8217;t have in Wichita. Food is pretty good but the best part about Ted&#8217;s is, not only do they give you free chips and salsa but they also give you unlimited free queso. I didn&#8217;t end up getting pics of that food, though.
