I was telling Brian that we solidified our “geekiness” by how we spent this weekend. While the “cool kids” were all hanging out at the lake, we spent most of the weekend indoors.<\/p>\n

Of course, we were outdoors on Saturday morning for the photo walk. That’s still a relatively “geeky” activity, though, considering participants were mostly Tweeps and Flickrites.<\/p>\n

We had our massage that afternoon. Brian got the better end of the deal, because his massage consisted of so much more than mine. He got hot stones and everything, while I didn’t even get a warm towel. <\/p>\n

I got a pretty routine rub. I can’t complain, though, because it was an “el cheapo” massage. Brian got a fantastic deal because of all the extras he received during his massage.<\/p>\n

The next day (yesterday) we met his parents and Chad at the movies. We watched Terminator Salvation. It was alright. Not as good as Star Trek for sure. Although, I did get to see the Sherlock Holmes movie trailer. Seemed like it would be really good, so I’m glad I got to preview it. That will be a movie to looking forward to in December. <\/p>\n

As for Terminator, I could have waited for it to come out on DVD. Brian is a major fan of the franchise, though, so we naturally had to go on opening weekend. The pictures on the left were taken at the theater, while we were waiting for our food to show up.<\/p>\n

We spent all day today at my mom and dads, again mostly indoors. Brian and I learned how to play mah jongg for money. I had fun, but I think it gave Brian a headache. So anyway, that’s how geeks like us spend Memorial weekend.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
