We went on our very last team building\/outing with our boss who was retiring (now retired). It was my first time at 1KC in probably over four years. It was wild because it seemed like a lot of the cubes hadn&#8217;t been touched in ages. In fact, there were still old calendars like these everywhere. It reminded me of when we finally started reporting back into the office after two years of being remote. It was like being in the Twilight Zone because my office was exactly as I&#8217;d left it in February\/March 2020.<\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/ching\/53003862809\/\"  title=\"Untitled\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/53003862809_19270e91b5.jpg\" width=\"500\" height=\"500\" alt=\"Untitled\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>While not much had changed inside, outside the building so much had changed over the last few years. The <a href=\"https:\/\/brubakers.us\/?p=15358\" >Onelife Fitness<\/a> is now a Genesis. <\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/ching\/53003118682\/\"  title=\"Untitled\"><img src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/53003118682_dde5edb4c7_c.jpg\" width=\"500\" alt=\"Untitled\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The last time I worked in KC, Two Light was still under construction. <\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/ching\/53004192893\/in\/photostream\/\"  title=\"Untitled\"><img src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/53004192893_8c92f33cd3_c.jpg\" width=\"500\" alt=\"Untitled\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>There&#8217;s been quite a lot of changes in the Power &#038; Light landscape, actually. Besides new buildings that have sprouted, some of my favorite restaurants are no longer around either.<\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/ching\/53004615874\/in\/photostream\/\"  title=\"Untitled\"><img src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/53004615874_e2b827edd0_c.jpg\" width=\"500\" alt=\"Untitled\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Yard House is still around, though. Went to check out Made in KC. It was my first time.
