We went to the Belmont<\/a> when Dave and Donna were in town last month. Brian and I hadn’t been there in a while and I had almost forgotten how much I love their food and drinks. Here are some pictures of the food we had…<\/p>\n

While there, I noticed some new drinks on their cocktail menu. I naturally had to try them. It took several visits to try all the new drinks but I managed to get it done before the month was up.<\/p>\n

I had to order two drinks per visit to get it done, but you gotta do what you gotta do.<\/p>\n

On this visit, I had the San Junipero (green drink) and the Moonlight (purple drink). It made sense to order these two together because they were both gin based. I am always very careful about mixing my spirits. <\/p>\n

Both drinks were refreshing and delicious in their own way. They were the perfect warm weather drinks.<\/p>\n

Brian never deviates from his usual – Rackhouse. It is a bourbon based drink and his absolute favorite there.<\/p>\n

On a separate visit, I had the Velvet Hammer and Brian got Rackhouse (obviously).<\/p>\n

I also got a Nectar of the Plains.<\/p>\n

Here’s a picture of the Calumet from one of our first visits to the Belmont. I didn’t order it this tour because I’ve drank it so many times. It was and has always been my favorite drink to get there. Apparently, it’s also a favorite for many because it’s the one drink that they’ve never take off their cocktail menu.<\/p>\n

Don’t get too excited. Brian didn’t order anything new. This is still the ham and cheese but they ran out of the pretzel roll that day so they served it to him in a sourdough toast. <\/p>\n

Anyway, I just love the food and drinks at the Belmont. It’s one of our “go to” places for happy hour and whenever we don’t feel like making anything.<\/p>\n
