{"id":26931,"date":"2022-12-09T11:10:10","date_gmt":"2022-12-09T17:10:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/brubakers.us\/?p=26931"},"modified":"2022-12-08T13:38:53","modified_gmt":"2022-12-08T19:38:53","slug":"thanksgiving-weekend","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/brubakers.us\/?p=26931","title":{"rendered":"Thanksgiving Weekend"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>David and Donna were in town over Thanksgiving and so, along with mom and dad and grandma, we all got together at YaYa&#8217;s for Thanksgiving brunch. <\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/ching\/52520462822\/in\/datetaken\/\"  title=\"Untitled\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/52520462822_de0c6013ec.jpg\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" alt=\"Untitled\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We like going to YaYa&#8217;s because then no none has to spend several hours preparing and cooking our meal, there&#8217;s no clean up after, and we aren&#8217;t stuck with a ton of leftovers that we have to eventually throw out. Also, the food selection at their brunch buffet is quite extensive. They have ham, turkey, beef, pork, seafood, a wide variety of sides and desserts &#8212; there&#8217;s something for everyone.<\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/ching\/52521210659\/in\/datetaken\/\"  title=\"Untitled\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/52521210659_72f6a7529f.jpg\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" alt=\"Untitled\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Brian always fixes grandma&#8217;s plate for her and then tells her what all he got since she can&#8217;t see very well these days.<\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/ching\/52521480018\/in\/datetaken\/\"  title=\"Untitled\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/52521480018_c2220e8504.jpg\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" alt=\"Untitled\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Brian and I don&#8217;t really do the whole Black Friday thing anymore but we did swing by Bradley Fair on Friday morning to deliver a cup of hot chocolate to our friend DJ Carbon. He was spinning tunes outside Lululemon to keep the shoppers waiting in line to get into Lululemon entertained.<\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/ching\/52522244922\/in\/datetaken\/\"  title=\"Untitled\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/52522244922_f0f7542b78.jpg\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" alt=\"Untitled\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Brian actually had to work on Black Friday so my time with him was very limited. Also, I left for Oklahoma City on Friday afternoon to play pickleball that evening with some OKC friends.
