Brian and I were talking about cars the other day..\u00c2\u00a0 You know, since we’re preoccupied about that stuff lately.\u00c2\u00a0 He wants to be practical and perhaps get a good reliable used car for me.\u00c2\u00a0 I was thinking that if that were the case I’d just wait a couple of years and get the car that I really want.\u00c2\u00a0 But then, we don’t think Sunny will last six months, let alone two years!<\/p>\n
In trying to think of suitable cars, I asked Brian what kind of car he thought I would be if I were a car and not a person.\u00c2\u00a0 He said that I would be a Cadillac XLR.\u00c2\u00a0 I don’t even know what those look like so I had to ask him to elaborate.\u00c2\u00a0 He goes, “You know.. Classy with nice lines.”\u00c2\u00a0 I bust up laughing.\u00c2\u00a0 He must be thinking of someone else, surely!\u00c2\u00a0 I would never in a million years describe myself as classy.\u00c2\u00a0 You’re talking to a girl who picks her nose, likes to sniff armpits, thinks farting the alphabet while aiming it at your spouse is hilarious and burps louder than Shrek.<\/p>\n
Anyway, I was thinking to myself that I could get a car to match my personality.\u00c2\u00a0 So I asked him, “Can I afford a Cadillac XLR?”\u00c2\u00a0 He goes, “Hell no!”\u00c2\u00a0 Ack, how can he be telling me I resemble a car that I can’t even afford?\u00c2\u00a0 WTF?!<\/p>\n
Then he starts thinking, “What did we say I was again?”\u00c2\u00a0 I go, “A Suburban” as I burst into laughter.\u00c2\u00a0 I remember telling him he reminded me of a Suburban because he’s big and roomy.\u00c2\u00a0 He goes, “Oh, yeah..\u00c2\u00a0 Because I’m strong and powerful with lots of room in the trunk.”<\/p>\n
I go, “You could be a Suburban with a flat tire” just because I like picking on him.\u00c2\u00a0 He goes, “Great.\u00c2\u00a0 So not only am I big, I’m slow too.\u00c2\u00a0 You could say that I’m a Suburban with a flat tire and misfiring piston because I’m a little crazy too.”<\/p>\n
And then, of course, I had to bring back the conversation to me..\u00c2\u00a0 Because of how self-absorbed I am.\u00c2\u00a0 You know how it goes.\u00c2\u00a0 Seriously though, I really didn’t buy that Cadillac crap.\u00c2\u00a0 I think he must be wanting to get laid or something.\u00c2\u00a0 But I digress, I want a car that would resemble my personality so I had him keep thinking.\u00c2\u00a0 And then I came up with an idea on my own..\u00c2\u00a0 “I could be an RX8,” I tell him.\u00c2\u00a0 But he disagreed.\u00c2\u00a0 He said I wasn’t fast and racy.<\/p>\n
So I still don’t know.\u00c2\u00a0 Hmmm..\u00c2\u00a0 Now I it’s your turn to ponder the question: if you were a car, what kind of car would you be?\u00c2\u00a0 Do you think I would be a Cadillac convertible?\u00c2\u00a0 If not, what car do you think I would be?\u00c2\u00a0 I’m curious!\u00c2\u00a0 Leave the answer in the comments.\u00c2\u00a0 I’m hoping we’ll get some interesting ones. =)<\/p>\n
