{"id":246,"date":"2004-11-06T21:00:54","date_gmt":"2004-11-07T03:00:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/brubakers.us\/blog\/?p=420"},"modified":"2004-11-06T21:00:54","modified_gmt":"2004-11-07T03:00:54","slug":"good-workout-day","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/brubakers.us\/?p=246","title":{"rendered":"Good Workout Day"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This week has been a good workout week.\u00c2\u00a0 Since I didn&#8217;t get to play racquetball on Sunday because I was in horrible shape after drinking too much the night before, I vowed that I would workout as much as I could this week.\u00c2\u00a0 On Wednesday I did Circuit Step with Ashley.\u00c2\u00a0 Thursday, I did Step for an hour until 8:30 PM and then Ashley, Travis and I played racquetball until 10:00 PM.\u00c2\u00a0 We would&#8217;ve played longer I think, but the Y closes at 10:00 PM.<\/p>\n<p>I didn&#8217;t get to work out yesterday because we had dinner plans.\u00c2\u00a0 We met Ashley and Travis and Jason and Erin at the Outback.\u00c2\u00a0 Had a nice dinner and then Ashley, Travis, brian and I went to see <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/disney.go.com\/disneypictures\/incredibles\/index.html\"  target=\"out\"><font color=\"#000000\">The Incredibles<\/font><\/a>.\u00c2\u00a0 Erin and Jason didn&#8217;t go because Jason had to work.\u00c2\u00a0 Anyway, the movie is really good.\u00c2\u00a0 You all ought to go watch it!<\/p>\n<p>This morning Ashley was supposed to do Step with me but she overslept so I did an hour of Step by myself.\u00c2\u00a0 After that I did 45 minutes of Hi\/Low.\u00c2\u00a0 Sarah was going to do that with me but due to some miscommunication she did cardio (treadmill, elliptical etc) upstairs instead.\u00c2\u00a0 Misty and Sarah did PHAT (it stands for Pretty Hips Abs and Thighs) with me for 30 minutes.\u00c2\u00a0 So I worked out for over 2 hours in one day.\u00c2\u00a0 Isn&#8217;t that awesome?!<\/p>\n<p>After that we had lunch at Samurai.\u00c2\u00a0 I went home, fixed Nick&#8217;s Flickr, took a nap, got up, showered and met Sarah at the mall for some hardcore shopping.\u00c2\u00a0 Just kidding.\u00c2\u00a0 It wasn&#8217;t really hardcore.<\/p>\n<p>I just had to exchange a couple of shirts at Abercrombie &#038; Fitch and Hollister.\u00c2\u00a0 What is up with the sizing these days?\u00c2\u00a0 I mean, I&#8217;ve always worn size small in everything so I picked up two shirts at both stores in size small only to find out that they are too small for me!<\/p>\n<p>Our first stop was Abercrombie.\u00c2\u00a0 Remember the &#8220;I may not be perfect but parts of me are pretty awesome&#8221; shirt?\u00c2\u00a0 I had to exchange that for a medium.\u00c2\u00a0 I am NOT a freakin&#8217; medium!!\u00c2\u00a0 I swear to God!\u00c2\u00a0 There&#8217;s a conspiracy out there against me.<\/p>\n<p>While there though, I found that my two cropped sweatshirts went down to $29 instead of $39.\u00c2\u00a0 I just got them last week in Kansas City so I asked the girl nicely if I could get a price adjustment and she gave me $20 back (it was $22 something after taxes)!\u00c2\u00a0 Go me!\u00c2\u00a0 The stupid thing is we kept trying to put it back to my Abercrombie card and it wouldn&#8217;t go through.\u00c2\u00a0 Finally, she&#8217;s like &#8220;Are you sure this is the card that you use?&#8221;\u00c2\u00a0 And it hits me that we used our debit card!\u00c2\u00a0 That was a total retard moment!<\/p>\n<p>So anyway, next stop Hollister.\u00c2\u00a0 I wanted to exchange my &#8220;Now Hiring for All Positions&#8221; shirt for a medium too.\u00c2\u00a0 I found a large and asked the girl if she could search for a medium in the back because the large one was all that was left on the shelf.\u00c2\u00a0 She comes back, no mediums.\u00c2\u00a0 So I say, I&#8217;ll take the large.\u00c2\u00a0 I try it on thinking it will be a little loose and it&#8217;s still somewhat fitted.\u00c2\u00a0 What the fuck?!\u00c2\u00a0 I am NOT a large!!<\/p>\n<p>Sarah was holding a size medium sweater in her hand (the same one that I bought last week in gray; she got the dark blue one) and she promptly drops it and looks for a large.\u00c2\u00a0 What is the world coming to?\u00c2\u00a0 Everything is designed for skinny little twinkies!\u00c2\u00a0 There are no more cool stores with normal sizing!<\/p>\n<p>Next stop Express.\u00c2\u00a0 I couldn&#8217;t find anything I wanted so I finally setlled for this knit tank with a matching scarf and I got another one of those strechy camisole tanks that I like with the lace trim across the front.\u00c2\u00a0 I got the cami in black because I already have it in white, cream and light blue.\u00c2\u00a0 Anyway, she rings up my total and she goes $150 something.\u00c2\u00a0 Again, what the fuck?!\u00c2\u00a0 I only picked up three things!\u00c2\u00a0 I knew that the sweater knit tank was like $49.50 and the cami was $24.50 so my question to her was, &#8220;How much was the scarf?&#8221;\u00c2\u00a0 The stupid scarf that goes with my tank is $68!!\u00c2\u00a0 Insane!!\u00c2\u00a0 I could&#8217;ve gotten one of the fancy tops for that price.\u00c2\u00a0 But then, I had to get it.\u00c2\u00a0 It makes the outfit.\u00c2\u00a0 The tank would be really plain otherwise.<\/p>\n<p>I don&#8217;t think I can wear it to work, but I may wear it next weekend.\u00c2\u00a0 I&#8217;ll look like a veritable fashion plate.\u00c2\u00a0 LOL!<\/p>\n<p>Now I think I&#8217;m going to nap.\u00c2\u00a0 We have poker tonight ($10 buy-in;
