This is Charles.\u00c2\u00a0 I ran into him at school today.\u00c2\u00a0 It’s been almost five years since we’ve seen each other.\u00c2\u00a0 We used to work together at Spiegel, in the customer satisfaction department.\u00c2\u00a0 He left in the beginning of 2000 and I hadn’t seen him since.<\/p>\n

The amazing part is that I just ran into Tien a couple of weeks ago at the Communities in Schools event at North High School.\u00c2\u00a0 Tien works for Communities in Schools.\u00c2\u00a0 It’s local nonprofit organization that’s doing some really great things.<\/p>\n

Anyway, I guess Tien and Charles have been in contact since they both work downtown.\u00c2\u00a0 They didn’t know that I worked downtown as well until my chance encounter with Tien.\u00c2\u00a0 Hopefully the three of us can meet for lunch one day.\u00c2\u00a0 It would be neat to catch up and everything.<\/p>\n

Charles got married last year and has an 8-week-old baby.\u00c2\u00a0 Tien got married in 2000 (I think), at least two years before me and I think she has two kids now.\u00c2\u00a0 It’s crazy how time flies!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
