El Mercado is a buffet unlike any other. It&#8217;s set up to look like a marketplace &#8212; except you don&#8217;t pay for anything. Delicious food was in abundance and we enjoyed a lot of it. Here are some pictures of El Mercado, our go-to place for meals throughout our stay.<\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/ching\/49051557771\/in\/datetaken\/\" stand greets you as you enter and it is always well-stocked.<\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/ching\/49051557801\/in\/datetaken\/\"  title=\"Untitled\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/49051557801_d9cd4c5824.jpg\" alt=\"Untitled\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The restaurant has lots of neat touches like fresh food in baskets and pinatas hanging from the ceiling.<\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/ching\/49051557706\/in\/datetaken\/\"  title=\"Untitled\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/49051557706_19f7599406.jpg\" alt=\"Untitled\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Though busy making food, the staff was always friendly, helpful, and ready to answer questions and offer their assistance.<\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/ching\/49051770952\/in\/datetaken\/\"  title=\"Untitled\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/49051770952_4b4b0e2203.jpg\" alt=\"Untitled\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>There were multiple stations with fresh fruits and vegetables.<\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/ching\/49051049823\/in\/datetaken\/\"  title=\"Untitled\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/49051049823_0181106216.jpg\" alt=\"Untitled\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>In the morning, there is a <em>panero<\/em> (Spanish for &#8220;bread man&#8221;) that goes from table to table to offer you delicious bread.<\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/ching\/49053695353\/in\/datetaken\/\"  title=\"Untitled\"><img src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/49053695353_dd995e2e73_c.jpg\" alt=\"Untitled\" width=\"500\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s always really hard to choose because everything looks amazing.<\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/ching\/49053695433\/in\/datetaken\/\"  title=\"Untitled\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/49053695433_3aa7010efb.jpg\" alt=\"Untitled\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>They also have a pancake and waffle station.<\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/ching\/49129070752\/in\/datetaken\/\"  title=\"Untitled\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/49129070752_266226c44b.jpg\" alt=\"Untitled\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>In the evening, there&#8217;s a street taco stand.<\/p>\n<p><a
