{"id":204,"date":"2004-08-18T21:10:50","date_gmt":"2004-08-19T03:10:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/brubakers.us\/blog\/?p=372"},"modified":"2004-08-18T21:10:50","modified_gmt":"2004-08-19T03:10:50","slug":"movie-update","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/brubakers.us\/?p=204","title":{"rendered":"Movie Update"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The last two movies we watched through <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.netflix.com\/\"  target=\"out\"><font color=\"#000000\">Netflix<\/font><\/a> are <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/thebigbounce.warnerbros.com\/\"  target=\"out\"><font color=\"#000000\">The Big Bounce<\/font><\/a> and <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.apple.com\/trailers\/disney\/miracle\/\"  target=\"out\"><font color=\"#000000\">Miracle<\/font><\/a>.\u00c2\u00a0 <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/thebigbounce.warnerbros.com\/\"  target=\"out\"><font color=\"#000000\">The Big Bounce<\/font><\/a> was kind of boring but it had some cool people in it: Gary Sinise, Morgan Freeman and Owen Wilson.\u00c2\u00a0 I don&#8217;t know what it is about Gary Sinise, but I love him.\u00c2\u00a0 And, of course, Owen Wilson is really hot in that goofy\/dorky\/slacker kind of way.\u00c2\u00a0 The girl who plays the lead (not sure what her name is) kind of reminds me of Bridget Fonda&#8217;s character in <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt0119396\/\"  target=\"out\"><font color=\"#000000\">Jackie Brown<\/font><\/a>.\u00c2\u00a0 Despite her walking around semi-naked for the entire movie, there wasn&#8217;t really enough story or sex to keep me interested.\u00c2\u00a0 I almost fell asleep and was finally relieved when the movie ended.\u00c2\u00a0 The only redeeming value of the movie was that Nancy got what she deserved in the end, which is nothing!\u00c2\u00a0 And Jack ends up with the girl in #9, who is a minor character, not really that hot but is kind of sweet.\u00c2\u00a0 I can totally relate to her character, the one that no one really notices.<\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.apple.com\/trailers\/disney\/miracle\/\"  target=\"out\"><font color=\"#000000\">Miracle<\/font><\/a>, on the other hand was really good.\u00c2\u00a0 I don&#8217;t know why I never wanted to see it in the theaters.\u00c2\u00a0 After all, I love Kurt Russell.\u00c2\u00a0 And I&#8217;m totally crushing on Jimmy Craig right now.\u00c2\u00a0 He&#8217;s probably 50 now, but I still want to meet him.\u00c2\u00a0 He was awesome!\u00c2\u00a0 Of course, I wouldn&#8217;t mind meeting Eddie Cahill, the guy who played his character, either.\u00c2\u00a0 He&#8217;s a cutie!\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The last two movies we watched through Netflix are The Big Bounce and Miracle.\u00c2\u00a0 The Big Bounce was kind of boring but it had some cool people in it: Gary Sinise, Morgan Freeman and Owen Wilson.\u00c2\u00a0 I don&#8217;t know what it is about Gary Sinise, but I love him.\u00c2\u00a0 And, of course, Owen Wilson is [&hellip;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":[],"categories":[13],"tags":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/brubakers.us\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/posts\/204"}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/brubakers.us\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/brubakers.us\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/brubakers.us\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/users\/1"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/brubakers.us\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fcomments&post=204"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/brubakers.us\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/posts\/204\/revisions"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/brubakers.us\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fmedia&parent=204"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/brubakers.us\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fcategories&post=204"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/brubakers.us\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Ftags&post=204"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
